cause we're dumb like that

because we are sisters we can get away with laughing for no good reason, grabbing each others hiney in public, dancing obnoxious, and other equally lame, embarrassing things! but sisters, mine especially are fantastic and great! even if they are a pain in the butt! and for that reason i will miss mine terribly as she moves to Colorado tomorrow. but a 1 hour flight... is better my friend than 5. love you sister! dos gringos will be waiting for us when you return. can anyone say BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP????

ok so i admit that in the past i have been a big book nerd. i loved the new pages of the books and the characters on them. it has been roughly 6 months since i have read last..... until this week. im trying to do the things that used to make me happy. books were high on the list. anywho...
im hooked!! my nose has been in a book every spare second. i had honestly forgotten how much i love them. im already thinking about what to read next!

BOOF BOOF

my sister and her friend used to sing this song when they were little. it was about a boof boof- an imaginary bird i think that was horribly ugly and fat! I feel like a boof boof! not so much the ugly part but the grossness about the bird....yep im feeling it. 3 weeks of eating yuck- mostly because of going on vacation and from feeling sick and wanting comfort food. cause when you have a sore throat... a salad and chicken just doesnt sound as good as ice cream and pretzels. im on about week 4 of feeling sick, my imune system is just shot im sure. but im not complaining cause both lungs are up and we are at the end of my 3 month usual stay in the hospital and im still at home playing on the computer. back to the boof boof- amazing how long it takes you to lose weight and get in shape and BAM a couple of weeks of not being on it and WHAM- BOOF BOOF! alas i resort back to the gym and to no more in and out or ice cream! but just for the memories.....

us guys in san diego

I love san diego! I love the beach and the smell of the sea, the cool breezes, the green rolling hills, the cute stores, the big boats, the laid back-i will get there when i feel like it feel. I love the amusement parks and the great food. This trip I loved Sea world. Words can't explain how great it was to see Londy so excited about shamu. It was magical. Im very much a kid at heart and love every minute about it. The drive over was even fun and it was so nice to drive in one car thanks to joey for buying that camper packer roof thing. By the end of the trip we had laughed, argued and laughed some more. good times were had. It was great to watch londy play in the sand too! such expression on that little face. I could have a million pictures of the beach and still want more. there is just something about it that boggles my mind. joey says you can see the water for 27 miles before the earth curves. amazing! all in all a great trip! i even felt a little bit of the old happy bri come back- a not sick- not tired girl. it was.......nice!

its prom season and today kicked it off with one of the flashy, snotty, north scottsdale -private schools prom. this girl came in for an updo and proceeded to go on and on about how she did not want to go and how lame her school was. she was going with her 22 year old god brother and was planning on leaving to do alternative partying at his dorm room. she was mad because they had cops coming to the prom and doing Breathalyzers and car searches for illegal loot. she thought that was totally unacceptable and that that was what prom was all about- weed and drinking. i mean silly me i thought it was for dancing, and pictures in fancy clothes! then she told me how all the kids at her school are rich and there are actually kids there that drive bentlys and Maserati. now you can tell those are high class cars cause i cant even spell them right. but really---does a 16 year old need a $100,000.00 car? when is enough enough? i knew a client whos kids went to this school and they were considered poor because the parents were both ONLY DOCTORS! mind you these are some of the best known docs in town and they apparently are slumming it living on camelback in a 8000 sqft home. If that is slumming i must be homeless! i think i live on mars or in a different solar system all together because this is just insane!

being vain

so i guess its official and im as vain as the people i make fun of! so making fun of people and thinking you arent like them does come and bite you in the uh um well you know! : ) ill tell you what it is exhausting to get your hair done and everything waxed, keep your nails from looking like you chewed them and dont even get me started on the body. i mean really- between going to the gym and trying to have a tan so i dont blind people with my pastiness. THIS IS ALOT OF WORK! but do you think i will give it up and be brunette, hairy,flabby and white----NOT ON YOUR LIFE! if im going out im going out looking good!
