flashback friday

so being the blog stalker that i am im stealing this idea from amy who stole it from one of her friends. might i add its a great journal keeping idea!


New york New York...

as long as i can remember i have dreamed of new york city, the fashion, the noise, the subway, macy's thanksgiving day parade, central park ect ect ect.
soooo...brandon and i planned a trip to go right after christmas back in 2003! his aunt christy and uncle john live there and are more like friends than aunts/uncles. we planned the trip, saved for the trip and boom...a few months later were gonna be pregnant while on our trip! 5 months to be exact and i was not going to let it stop me from the trip i had been dreaming about! it deffinately slowed me down but...WOW!
i loved every minute and can not wait to get back...aside from the awesome company, we saw everything we could fit in! central park, time square, amazing food!, the statue of liberty with freezing rain and frozen fingers, photos of everything, "the Producers" broadway play with none other than mathew broadwick and nathan lane!
we watched people ice skate at rockafeller center, went to the MET, saw the new york stock exchange and explored all 7 something stories of macys (this was the BEST!)
there is nothing like NY at holiday time with the windows all decorated and snow and fun in the air!



i can not wait to go back! next winter perhaps? :)
