The happiest place on earth
Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth. Fun rides, yummy snacks, a princess everywhere you look. Indiana Jones, space mountain, big thunder mountain, pirates, peter pan. everything was decorated for Halloween. but oh the people- kids screaming, whining and shoving. children dressed up as pirates and princess' but not wanting to carry the sword or wand they just spent 15 minutes begging for. strollers with sleepy toddlers and parents trying to get a grip. oh how happy i was there without London. Newport was amazing. crab cooker and the ferry boat you drive on to balboa. the weather was perfect- a warm sun and cool breeze. Hollywood was full of homeless, outlandish and odd people. Chinese theater was amazing. complete with carol Burnett, Shirley temple and Julie Andrews hand prints. We drove from one end of la to the other a did at least a dozen u turns. all in all a well needed vacation- even the hotel had an awesome bed. id do it again next year!

halloween is a comming
oh how i love halloween!!!!! i have started getting out the pumpkins, fall leaves, ghost and black cats. london thinks this is spectacular and goes around the house shouting PUMPKIN PATCH, BOO, AND HEHEHE. she tried on her tinkerbell costume and did not want to take it off. sparkly wings, can you blame her for wanting to wear them?
we will take her to trunk of treat and schnepfs farm for hayrides, corn mazes and to pick her own pumpkin. carving will of coarse follow and to top it off home made pumpkin sugar cookies with thick frosting. how can you not like halloween? a day to be someone else!

shes a funny little lady
potty training has to be one of the worst experiences of my life! you spend all day everyday talking potty talk just to spend all night dreaming about it. well we finally got it- number one that is. never thought i would discuss this on the internet but you know things change when you are a mom. we had a potty party when londy finally went on the big girl potty, party hats blow horns, candy-the works. i will cave to anything she wants if she pees in the potty. ice cream for breakfast-no problem, chocolate milk instead of lunch-of coarse, new toys round the clock- you bet. she also thinks everything is up for debate. i will tell her how about chicken nuggets for lunch and she will reply with...um...how bout...........m and m's? whining is at its all time high and yes crazy as it is i still want another child. i think she has got me delusional.
