do you love the 80's?

you have to love the 80's.
vanilla ice, oliva newton john, the smurfs, charles in charge, the facts of life, different strokes, kate and allie, the snorks, cyndi lauper, mc hammer, leg warmers, shoulder pads (ok maybe not that), hammer pants, tight jeans, visors, puffy paint, madonna, crimpers and high top reebocks. now 80's cars sucked and the hair was pretty bad too but the music and shows ruled!!!! im proud to have grown up in the 80's!!! (guess i should get a life, hugh?!)

Work Out Mode

I love to work out!!!! There is something seriously wrong with me!! Our new gym is opening this week and we got a tour today. I have never seen anything so big. It is big enough to hold 10,000 people at one time. TV monitors on every piece of cardio equipment, 3 class rooms, a salon, rock wall, and a theater yep a movie theater, blah, blah ect ect. WOW--- i get this weird kind of rush from other people working out. just thinking about it makes me want to run for hours... sick is it not?

Torn and Wanting

I find myself always torn between wanting so many things, purchasing them and putting myself severely in debt. And on the flip side being RESPONSIBLE and living without. Don't you HATE that word?!!!?? RESPONSIBLE--- something you know you should be as adults but forever trying to live like you don't know any better. I walk down the aisles of any store and I think ohhh I could use that or ahhhh that would be fun. Thank you cards, wrapping paper and ribbon, books upon books from romance novels to picture books of farms. New towels and bed linens, the newest soap at bath and body works. Grocery stores are one of my worst places- I can justify anything at the grocery store- it is food you NEED IT! Don't get me started on shoes.... London screams for the diamond encrusted Jimmy Choos and I find myself wondering... If I threw myself on the floor of the department store, do you think the sales people would take pity on me and sell them for $40.00 instead of $400.00? I think not, and so I spend my days thinking of times when i will be frivolous and spend money on all those things I want. But I can't help but think I WANT, I WANT, I WANT, I NEED, I NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eat my words

Do you ever say something and then immediately back peddle trying to eat your words? I am the queen of this and fear how many toes I have stepped on while doing this. I'm not well read and my explanation for most things is terrible. I say one thing but always mean something totally different. What will it take to learn to keep my mouth SHUT!!!
