THe happiest time of the year????

If christmas is the happiest time of the year then why is everyone crabby, sick, irritated with drivers and parking lots, rushing around, depressed and down right rude? I ask myself- if this is happy we must be a mess when we are mad.

Tis the season to be busy. Every year I start Christmas a little earlier than the last year and yet i still find myself scrambling at the last minute. I do not like being unorganized and I hate to be crazy busy. But the season is drawing nearer and i think I'm about done. We have spent the last few weeks playing as well. The temple lights were beautiful as always and it was a lot warmer than some previous years. Not as much fun without joey trying to figure out his camera or without me stepping in the reflecting pool. The zoo lights were fun too. we got a great pic of a zebra up close and had peppermint hot chocolate-yum. The next weekend we drove to Williams AZ for the polar express. London watches the movie everyday and calls it polar es sprites. Santa came on the train and we sang carols. it was cold and magical. we also did a horse drawn carriage ride- that made it feel like Christmas!!! The next morning we went to the dear farm where londy fed about 30 deer and we played with baby camels, bucks and billy goats. that was so cool!!!! over all the magic of the season has been in full force. now if we can just make it through Christmas- this year ----this awful , long year will be over soon.

i loathe the hospital

here i am again in the hospital. bored to death and wishing i was at home. halloween night while picking up candy for the kids i felt sudden sharp pain and knew i was in trouble. they observe the first night, chest tube the second day which i was so mad about. thursday til yesterday things were doing good minus the torture session on friday. now i have air in between my skin and fat and a leaking lung. if anything can be done the easy way it is certainly not done by me. im so tired of being here and now the nurse says im bed ridden and so i cant even get up and walk around. oh boy lucky me!!! and im so tired of everyone thinking i know what is going on or what doctors are doing. like they tell me anything. so for now i sit in pain irritated with my neighbor who never stops talking or laughing or asking me to open the window so she can have natural light. GO AWAY I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trunk or Treat

well the festivities have begun and the holidays are here. 8 weeks til christmas!!! we have baked pumpkin sugar cookies, decorated the house, gone to schnepfs farms for corn mazes, carousel rides and a pumpkin patch. and saturday night we did trunk or treat. london was so cute and dancing around to all the music and games. it did not take her long to figure out that she looked dang cute and that this holiday is all about candy. woohoo! she was even line dancing. christmas this year will be fun. cant wait to see her reaction. and we finally painted her new room. i cant wait to see the furniture in there!
