mama mia

the cutest movie if you love that cheesy singing dancing musical silliness that i do! it reminded me so much of "the pirate movie" that meg and i watched repetedly growing up.(which if you have not seen it...it is hilarious!) first of all the music is ABBA..you can never go wrong with them. cute flick!

my sis was in town this last week and altough we forgot to bust out the camera we did manange to have dinner at yard house,see mamamia, shop, hang out, get manicures and all of those fun sisterly things.
i miss her already! i have one great sister:)

sandiego 08

sandiego 08 started off a little scary...the docs thought i needed a blood transfusion and we were afraid i would not be able to go to cali...but after a couple scary days and hospitals...blah blah blah i was cleared to go on vacation as long as i took meds. (apparently i am severly anemic)so onto the trip we go...
london was amazing the whole trip- no naps, tried all kinds of new food! yey londy( not happily of coarse) but she did it! we spent just about every day beach side and walked everywhere! i had not been to misssion beach in years and could not believe how much it was the same! between yummy dinner spots and the beach we managed to play a fair amount of games, take some great family pics...go bri for setting them up and then sprinting to jump in them before the timer went off!
the ashtons came to visit too and it was really neat to see the kiddos all dressed up and to take their pics too! what a beautiful family... i sure had fun taking them:)
brandon and i headed to the sandiego zoo where i had never been...geeeez it makes the phoenix zoo look yucky! it was so green and lush and we saw animals so up close from our double decker bus tour and skyride!




the gorillas were facinating and they had this cheetah? with a regular dog...they grew up together and go everywhere together...amazing!

we managed to shop a bit on the boardwalk and local stores and even went to horton plaza...its kindof like a small fashion square mall that is all open to the outside. it is in downtown and i never tire of going there just to be in the area. i love that downtown/ sanfran/new york city kind of feel!
its always good to be home and in your own bed but oh how i miss the beach! we rented a catamaran one day and went sailing on the bay...made me think of hawaii...cali was great but so far nothing!!! will beat hawaii:)
thanks mom and dad for making this happen! it had been since londy was 6 weeks old that we all did the beach together and it felt good to be all together again!

fourth of july

ok so i am a little backed up but in my defense things have been ultra crazyyyyyy! to our sweet surprise our friends april, dustin and their kiddos came down for the fourth and we were able to spend time with them...yey us! they have been living in cali for a couple of months and returned for just the weekend or so we thought.(change of plans while they were visiting and have since moved BACK...again yey for us!) the day consisted of lunch out at west gate...which wich and a barbeque that night! yummy burgers dusty and aps...as always loved the oreo truffles! the kiddos were soooo excited to see each other, play, run around, do party poppers and watch the fireworks. its amazing how much fun you can have just hanging out!

annie baby

i have told you all before that we sing annie in the car at the top of our lungs and she is always a few words behind! notice how she is even singing the wrong words just like her mom...hilarious! we know the right words they just never come out of our mouths that way!

medicine chest

so i come home saturday and this is what i find! i told my hubby the medicine chest always feels warm because it backs up to the garage... so brandon being the rockstar he is sprays liquid insulation in behind the medicine chest and VOILA- nasty goo everywhere!!!! its gonna take a chisel to get it all off! but... my chest is now full of nice and cool products :) ask and ye shall recieve!

london turns four

londy turned four on june 8th. man time goes by so fast! we went to peter piper with the ruffs,the lake with papa,icecream cake with nonni, and dinner with mom and dad. it was so fun picking out her birthday presents... i think they were more for me than they were for her. they still have the classics...lite brite, lincoln logs, view finder, ect. so i am soooo glad to know that she loves the lite brite and lincoln logs... she has been waking brandon up at 5am to start a new lite brite pic EVERY morning! he is THRILLED with this! lol!

so here are a few things about our girl we love sooooooo much!

-she has many nicknames...mouse,bug,londyroo, londy, londylou, peanut and biscuit(thanks to kei-kei)
-she calls our friend dan...damn.... which is hilarious! and he just rolls with it :)
-chocolate milk is her all time favorite
-chicken nuggets,apples, pbjelly and jam (as she calls them) is about all she will eat of REAL food. but like any child loves chocolate, sugar and any kind of snack cracker!
-she carries this nasty blankie with her and it is shredded to hell
-she is very tenderhearted
-a daddys girl times a million
-too sassy for her own good(i know you are shocked she is my daughter?)
-she forever calls aunt meggie..... "uncle joey"
-tickle me is her favorite pastime-it means to scratch her back,arms, tummy, face, nose...you name it
-and her cousin conner is the coolest thing in her world
-babies...little animals she sleeps,eats and bathes with...im pretty sure these will be tucked in her wedding dress with her or at least in her backpack to college!

all in all she is OUR favorite girl, quirks and all. shes sweet, sassy, funny and smart and we are so lucky she is ours! heavenly father must of had a plan because she was a surprise to us and the best surprise we've ever had. happy birthday bug!

lake time

lake time is almost as great as beach time! we spent today at the lake and boy do i LOVE it! i never really get to go that much since i have always worked on saturdays... however now that i only work one sat. a month i have plenty of time to join londy and b out at bartlet! it was beautiful today and i even decided to wake board. (which you might remember from previous posts was one of my very favortie things to do but i am so scared my lung will collapse if i crash that i seldom do this anymore.) no jumps! (not that i could do them anyways!) and nothing crazy but just to be pulled behind the boat and feel the wind on my face is such an amazing feeling! it will be a very sad day when the docs will no longer let bri do this!! but for now BRING IT ON :)




londy is also a huge fan and has been on papas boat since she was just a couple months old! what a cutie! this was part of her birthday celebrations! 4 years old...wow!
